I grew up teething on a Gator football, with a father who was one of only two individuals to be continuous season ticket holders for the first 50 years of Gator Boosters. A high school cheerleader (I introduced the Russian toe jump at state clinic) and avid water skiier, I spent 4 great years at FSU (where I am in the Hall of Fame and was on the Homecoming Court), before graduate school in New York at Columbia U. Ensuing years led to marrying into a professional sports family, 30 years living in cities, and having the privilege of being in Atlanta for the Atlanta Braves' World Series Championship, and to have the Olympic Torch run past my front lawn, prior to returning to my beloved Florida.
Reflections on happiest times? Being Soccer Mom / team mother for spring/fall outdoor soccer and winter indoor soccer for 4 years. It was my then-young-son's passion, and I loved it, too.
And... I was in New Orleans at the Sugar Bowl for the Gators' first National Football Championship (1996), and have been season ticket holder through the 2006 National Football Championship and record-breaking, back-to-back 2006-2007 National Basketball Championships. My son is a Gator, too - undergrad and now law school - so I'm hooked for life!
Sports injuries have long been a concern of mine, and I have my own as well, believe me! So I am now linking up with an incredible scientist/doctor team (Russian/American/Canadian) to share state-of-the-art tools that promote healing. Dr. Irina brought the SCENAR technology (developed to keep Russian Cosmonauts healthy in space) out of Russia to North America, as well as more technologies (e.g., Solaris Blanket, and work with the most advanced cold laser / low level laser system). Finding them has made a huge difference in my own health and youthful vitality (your sign-up form didn't let me tell my age - didn't go back far enough!), and I've read some incredible testimonies of use of these devices in international athletic competition as well as by seriously hurting former NFL players. So that is my current passion.
