I'm willing to bet that the Spurs are going to tank the game tonight so they have a better chance of avoiding the Suns in the first round of the playoffs. Utah is good, but not that good on the road. Phoenix will beat Portland and Houston will beat the Clippers. So if the Spurs get spanked, you know it's because they are afraid of Phoenix. Not concerned - AFRAID!
If my math is right, there are only a few scenario's that could avoid Suns/Spurs in the first round (like the Suns & Rockets winning and the Spurs losing, etc.). But more likely than not, that'll be the matchup and the Suns are going to absolutely OWN them.
The Spurs are the defending champs (cheating their way through Phoenix to get it, but..) so I'll give them a game. My prediction: Suns over the Spurs in 5. Your thoughts?
