Got some deals going on in sports. Finally, Jason Taylor heads out of Miami to play for Washington who seemingly has lost DE Philip Daniels on the first day of training camp for the rest of the season! Good move for both sides, as you knew Miami was not fond of Taylor this year.

And in baseball, the Brew Crew is making an effort to get back in the playoffs for the first time since 1982. They acquired second baseman Ray Durham from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for two minor leaguers. Durham will look to take the struggling Rickie Weeks' lead off spot in the Brewers lineup.

And last week the Phils' acquired SP Joe Blanton to start to bolster their rotation. More needs to be done, but this is a nice step for the Phils.
