I started a new team page for Baseball Drills.  Just go to my page and click the team with the baseball picture and it will take you to the page.  If you have any tips send me a message and I will try to post them for you.

This is Good for Any age for Baseball Players, especially Pitchers.  Start off throwing a baseball at a close distance for about 3-5 minutes just to get your arm warm.  Back up about 5 feet every 3-5 minutes depending on how quickly and accurately you are throwing. ( Focus on getting the Ball in the other person's glove everytime.  When you feel like your arm is used to the current throwing distance back up 5 feet. )

Continue Doing this Until you are forced to reach the other person with one Bounce.  This will push you to throw more often and longer.  Do the long toss every other day and watch how much your throwing strength, stamina, and accuracy will improve.

There is no better drill out there.

"I'll start playing long toss in January. If I can throw it 200 feet, I try to
throw it 300 feet. I don't stop at 120 feet, I throw it as far as I can." -
Greg Maddux, Atlanta Braves

I got a tip for ya!  RUN! Seriously thou.  If you run like everyday you gonna train every muscle in your body.  inclding the most important muscle your heart.  you need the stamina, endurance, and strength.  its boring but its the best.  you can try some different sprinting drills to mix it up, but you gotta run every day!  you cant argue that!!

One of the best ways to get ready for an upcoming season is to just go out and swing the bat. You don't have to face live pitching, you dont have to take soft toss, just swing. This will help your back and leg muscles, and the muscles in your arms get used to the amount of pressure and torque put on them. Plus with repitition, your swing will be more level and you will notice more contact when you do start to face live pitching because you've already got your swing down pat.
